Workopolis named amongst the world's top career websites

February, 2014 (Toronto) - The WEDDLE's has announced Workopolis as the winner of the 2014 User's Choice Award. These awards recognize the top 30 job search and recruitment solutions websites globally. Workopolis is the only Canadian website to have ever been included in this elite list of online employment sites.

Polling both job seekers and recruiters, the WEDDLE’s has been holding annual user's choice awards to uncover the best job site for the past ten years and performing recruitment research since 1996.

"We're honored to have been recognized as one of the world's best career websites - especially in an award that is selected by job seekers as well as the employers and recruiters who use our services," said Kelly Dixon, president of Workopolis. "Our mission is to help connect Canadians with the talent and opportunities that they need to be successful - so knowing that our users have voted us among the world's very best really means a lot to the whole team here."

"Over the 10 years that we've presented the award, Workopolis has won it five times," said Peter Weddle, CEO of the WEDDLES, "No other Canadian site has ever won it even once."

The WEDDLE's recognizes the 30 best websites in job search and recruitment and is an industry source for resources on employment, personal development and career success. The judges are the recruiters and job seekers who have used the websites over the year.
